It's in the Stars is a pattern was made by me from my newest series of zodiac illustrations. Although she's on my mind all the time, the start of summer always makes me think of Little Edie. When designing this pattern, I had Grey Gardens on in the background (obviously.) I imagined Edie wearing this scarf while she sat on the porch reading Zolar's "It's all in the Stars" while going on about finding a Libra man. She was one of a kind and I love how she was able to romanticize the past and keep a child like playfulness about her. This really is the best costume for the day.
